I've had a busy couple of days finishing the editorial for what will be the last issue of my magazine produced under my direction. Yep, I sold it. Yep, I need to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. Yep, I'm not worrying about any of that just yet. At any rate, I haven't posted the past few days because I've been working. Tomorrow, some kitsch: I'm off to the Kutztown Folk Festival, which for some reason I've never before attended. Here's the question of the hour: approximately how many feet from the car will I have to walk before encountering the first piece of funnel cake?
I'll be back Tuesday with the answer.

I'm hoping we encounter poultry or swine before funnel cakes. Bring your market bags. If the festival misses the mark, we can hit the Amish farm markets. Kutztown rocks. :)
I hope to hear about deep fried pickles and mars bars.
they make this apple pastry, its fluffy and not 2 sweet.what is funnel cake?is it what other fairs call fried dough and they add granulated sugar on the top.U can't just have a snack at one of those fairs just 2 eat later.because ALL the food is so heavy that a couple of bites fill u up.hey maybe U could put a couple of bites in your gas tank,it will last all week.tunsie.tunsie.tunsie.don't eat 2 much fried food i luv u el
